Personalize your Child Care
CYS Services' Family Child Care (FCC) program provides a home environment alternative to center-based care. Enjoy the benefits of personalized care for your child in the comfort of a certified provider's home. Preview actual homes with photos & descriptions by visiting Parent Central Services and asking about "FCC Online." For questions, please Gail Penrod at DSN 634-7615.

 Are you interested in running your own childcare business in your home? Are you creative, energetic, and do you love working with children? Vicenza's CYSS Army Family Child Care program might be for you!

Subsidy incentives are available for infant care, shift care, or special needs care. Toys and equipment are available from the FCC Lending Library to FCC providers. Please contact the FCC Office for more information or to register for the free FCC provisional trainings held periodically.

The Family Child Care Program is an alternative to center-based care and accepts children ages six weeks to 12 years.

FCC is CYSS care provided by an adult, who is certified by Child, Youth & School Services (CYSS), in certified government quarters or a state licensed home off-post. FCC offers a family atmosphere with a limited number of children. Active duty, DoD civilians and contract employees that are part of the Vicenza community are eligible sponsors for this program.

  • Full day care for children ages 6 weeks through 12 years old.
  • Before and After-school Care.
  • Summer care for all ages.
