Mission & Philosophy |
Family and MWR is the Directorate of Family & Morale, Welfare and Recreation Mission Family and MWR will serve the needs, interests of each soldier, family member and retiree, with affordable programs and services designed to enhance the quality of their lives. Family and MWR services and programs will provide soldiers opportunities for self-reliance, peace of mind, community, renewal and growth commensurate with those afforded to the citizens they are pledged to defend. Philosophy We are committed to providing Soldiers and Families a Quality of Life that is commensurate with their service. We work to create a strong and supportive environment where Soldiers and Families can thrive, by providing service and programs that support individual growth, mental and physical fitness and well-being. |

Outlook Newspaper The Outlook is a community newspaper for Caserma Ederle and Camp Darby. The Outlook is published every Thursday by USAG Vicenza Public Affairs Office. AFN - American Forces Network Vicenza AFN "The Eagle" Radio and AFN-South TV Broadcasting. USO - Until Everyone Comes Home For many decades, celebrities have joined forces with the USO to entertain troops all over the world. Actors, singers, comedians, writers and professional sports figures provide troops with a morale boost when they need it most. Traveling the globe, they volunteer their time and talents, ensuring that service members and their families know they are not forgotten. USO Services also include information referral services, Internet and e-mail access, housing and emergency assistance and support groups, to name a few.
